I've just got an email from LBS MiF admissions committee. I've got admitted to the program!
I'm long way from home, in a snowy place with my in-laws to celebrate Christmas. This has been a wonderful Christmas present.

Congrats! I am applying for the MiF full time for Sep 2008 entry and the deadline is Feb 19 for the applications. Am currently working on the personal statement, any inouts re your application process would be very helpful

I wish I could give a golden rule for writing a winning statement of purpose. It all depends on your qualifications, and what you want to emphasize in your application.
I have two recommendations though. make a list of your accomplishments and highlights of your career, and pick and choose which ones you would like to mention in your statement. Make sure whatever you pick adds value to your application and makes a point.
